We have had several questions concerning recent SCCA rules changes and how they might apply to our rules in NAC-SRCC.
The answer is that they don't. We are trying to keep things simple and fun.
Let me address the main questions.
No Aluminum heads, iron head Pintos only.
No upgraded Elgin cam. Only the cams as shown in our rules, ground to stock spec's.
No multiple minimum weight cam and head combinations. Iron head, stock cam, 1310 lbs. as raced.
No alloy calipers.
Same old flywheel as per our rulebook.
No diffusers on any cars.
Our rules cover a lot of years of cars and some are different than SCCA rules for your car. We did the best we could but not all areas are perfectly clear. Please read our rules and if in doubt feel free to contact us at the link at http://nac-srcc.com/SRCC/Welcome.html .
