Posts: 220 07/29/09 12:47:24	Tags : None Hi guys, I don't know how to put pdf links on this forum but if you go to our home page www.sports2000-srcc.com and click on "LATEST NEWS FROM MARCH RACING ACADEMY" you can see how the latest Sports 2000 Duratec manufacturer is coming along. With Brian bringing out the updated Duratec Carbir S2 later this year and the new RAY and Motus already out plus the March on its way....there could not be a better reason to push through the Duratec in the US. So now we have Lola, Juno, MCR, Van Diemen, Gunn, RAY, Motus, Carbir and March all building Duratec Sports 2000 cars................... Last Edited By: Colin Feyerabend 07/29/09 12:50:01. Posts: 9 07/29/09 15:43:23	Wow, what a great bunch of beautiful machinery! I have seen photos of the new Carbir bodywork and it's very nice. As far as the motor issue....no comment for fear of getting flamed. Seems logical, but adapter plates aren't out of the question either. I'm very excited to see that Sports 2000 has had such a huge rebirth across the pond...I fell in love with these little machines the first time I saw them. Last Edited By: JK 07/29/09 15:45:35. Posts: 221 07/29/09 23:06:53	I think the drawing is a little deceptive as the regulation regarding the roll bar in relation to the drivers helmet is rigorously enforced in the UK so you can be sure that will be fine. The cars size is actually larger than the old March Sports 2000 cars of the 80's and I believe the body has been lengthened since that drawing was done. There has been several changes on the original shape to improve the overall aerodynamics but still retaining the "feel" of those great cars from the 70's era. One thing you can guarantee is the car will look stunning when finished. Alan Hudd never does anything in halves!!
