I plan to run Laguna for the first time later this year. Lola Bruce shared his experience trying to get an Atlantic with a Supertrapp to comply with the noise
regs, and now I'm concerned.
I run a steel Supertrapp, no discs, and the only time I get into trouble up here in the Northwest is when Portland runs the chicane & moves the sound station, and at that only if my packing is burned out. I never have to run discs, just the steel Supertrapp with good packing. When the sound station is on the front straight, I never have any issues.
What are my chances of complying with Laguna's sound requirements with my Supertrapp? Can I pass with discs, a cap and a deflector? Opinions needed!
