Unofficial report from turn 5…Warm and overcast…L 1…T Sleath had a snap spin in the braking zone and amazingly didn't touch a thing as he crossed through the pack from Driver L to Driver R and stopped just outside the turn on the asphalt returning to the track in dead last place. L2... R Sherwood had a spin (don't know if he had help) in the same spot and went down the inside grass touching the last bit of the wall and was unable to continue. I think it was J Fergus, Bart, C Fergus, D Ferguson and Mercer early; Bart got by John in 5 and led for the middle portion of the race. A lot of yellows in 5 that killed the race for this spectator. Rumor has it that Bart and John got held up in the carousel and Corey got a run on both of them taking the lead. John spun (in 12 I think) under braking trying to get past Bart and was done. Mercer put on a charge and got past Bart in 5 when he locked the brakes chasing C Fergus and ran wide. Corey had a good gap and held it to take the win. Under the flag it was C Fergus, Mercer, Wolf, Ferguson. It's been a few hours so the details are already slipping, Sleath had a good charge back through the pack, Bautz and Andrea had a good run just off the lead pack, good race; best one on the track. Sorry for any omissions and/or inaccuracies, memory is not my strong point.
