How to DVDs Road Atlanta & VIR

Anyone know of instructional DVDs for Road Atlanta and/or VIR like the ones available for MidOHio and Watkins. Any leads to online video of full laps at speed of either track. Going to the SE in Fall 2010 for the October SVRA event at Road Atlanta and then scoot up north the next weekend for the SARRC event at VIR. Thanks, Rick

LD65 Pistons

Does anybody have either the exact dimensions for LD65 pistons, or one that I can make drawings from? Someone wants me to make a batch of replacement pistons, and it seems that I do not have that drawing in my pile.

Throttle cable

Hi Guys....

I used a company...I think they are in California to fabricate a new throttle cable for my Swift DB2. They did a super job. A buddy needs a new cable for his Formula Ford....I can't find the name of the company that makes the cables. Can anyone help me with a name or web address? Thanks alot!!!

Guys....

I am refurbishing an aluminum BOAT...in my free time...Just a small fishing boat

I am sanding the finish for a new paint job and I was thinking of running a bead along the seals.
(It doesnt leak now but was thinking as a proactive measure. Any ideas? I was thinking of a cauk but...Anyone have any other ideas?)

My racing buddy Mike had the misfortune of badly damaging his tub. After carefully inspecting the damage it became evident that the tub is made of a very ductile aluminum. It appears to me that the tub is made of 1100 or 3003. My best guess is that the large panels are 1/2 hard 1100. Can anyone confirm or correct my assumption please? We have the tools, ambition, and skills to make this a nice proper rebuild. We are intending to basically re-tub the car salvaging the good parts as we go. We...

Stuck in 3rd problem

Lola 88/90...Hewland 8/9 gearbox..Twice now I've been on track and gotten stuck in 3rd gear. Once in gear and once shifting 3-4 and no gears would interchange. BI have traced it back to two problems I believe and would like advice on both. The first problem appears to be the original shift linkage is wearing and knuckles worn. Futher appears that the holes for the conection bolts have worn as well. Is it best to replace the entire rod or just move to a larger bolt? And the knuckles, where...
