The final race has run, the fat lady has sung and the 2009 VS2 Championships are in the books. Lightning was a bust, wet and Cold, only one VS2 driver made the attempt and even Die-Hard Davey C. had to pack it up by Sat. The final numbers remain unchanged thru 6. Grand Champion VS2, Season 4, 2009 is Peter Gates! Pete also headed the Vintage Class with 3 Wins in 3 starts and won the coveted Vanderbuilt Cup from EMRA. All in all a pretty good season Mr. Gates. I need some help getting my Tiga SC86 back together

I would like to know if there is a person in the Fresno, CA area who could help me get my Tiga SC86 ready for next season. I have had some health issue that makes it difficult for me to do some of the work. I should be recovered by the spring but I want to make sure the car is ready then too. I don't expect anyone to do this for free so if there is someone capable who would like to earn some money please direct them to me or let me know via email;

Recent SCCA rules changes and other questions

We have had several questions concerning recent SCCA rules changes and how they might apply to our rules in NAC-SRCC.
The answer is that they don't. We are trying to keep things simple and fun.
Let me address the main questions.
No Aluminum heads, iron head Pintos only.
No upgraded Elgin cam. Only the cams as shown in our rules, ground to stock spec's.
No multiple minimum weight cam and head combinations. Iron head, stock cam, 1310 lbs. as raced.
No alloy...

Tiga SC85-87 Rear Axles (NOS) New

These are New Old Stock (NOS) Half Shafts Splined on both Ends for the SC85-SC87 S2's. (They might have other Applications)
These I've had since buying the remainder of the Tiga S2 stuff that Michael Gue of Essex Racing had.
They are unpainted and have what looks like a parkerized finish.

I drive a Lola T590 with a 596 body. I have only run on Goodyears. Can any-one give me good advice on how much air to run front and rear? I have run 15 front and 16 rear cold but feel I am leaving much on the table.
